Storybook Shire: New Adventures, Big Milestones, and Exciting Events!
It’s been nearly two months since my last update, and probably even longer since you heard from me by email! So much has happened with Storybook Shire this past year that I’m thrilled to share all the news and highlights with you.
Three Books Published and Growing Strong
Storybook Shire has been busy bringing stories to life with three self-published books now out in the world:
Journey to the City of Dreams
The Ice Code
Artemis & Charlotte’s Fantastical Adventure
Even more exciting, the Oakville Public Library has added the first two titles to their collection, so you can borrow and enjoy them easily. Plus, all three books have been ordered by Indigo, and Artemis & Charlotte is available as an ebook through Indigo’s platform!
First-Time Events!
I’m also proudly stepping out of my shell as Storybook Shire makes its very first public appearances. I’ll be at the Mississauga Literary Festival, which is a fantastic opportunity to connect with readers and fellow authors. Later this year, you can also find me at The Burlington Christmas Market—two wonderful events to mark on your calendar! Be sure to check out the events page for updates and details.
Progress on New Projects
The creative momentum continues with the Friendship Bench illustration sketches now completed by Nightingale Press. We’re moving into the coloring stage soon—can’t wait to share the vibrant visuals with you! On top of that, Hockey Sticks & Ninja Tricks is currently in the illustration phase, so there's lots more in store for fans of Storybook Shire.
