From a cozy homeland to the wide-open wonders of Canada

At five years old I crossed an ocean and traded the familiar for the unknown. Before writing, I spent years in healthcare caring for real-life heroes — two twists of fate nudged me toward the stories that now warm hearts and tickle imaginations. These days my in-house idea factory (my husband and two kids) supplies the bedtime giggles and "what if" questions behind every book.
